Big Idea of the Message : Because God desired his glory to dwell among the people of Israel, he commanded Moses to build an exact, richly adorned tabernacle.

Application Point : Just as the tabernacle was constructed to perfect specifications as a home for God himself, so Christians are commanded to live holy lives today because the Holy Spirit dwells inside us.

Application Point : It is only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we are delivered from the consequences of our sin.

THE BIRTH OF MOSES

Big Idea of the Message : Despite Pharaoh’s attempts to weaken the Israelite people, God’s plan for the Hebrews could not be thwarted. God used the conflict created by Pharaoh to bring about Israel’s freedom through Moses.

Application Point : Even though it might not always be apparent, God’s plans will be accomplished; we can try to fight his will or we can be used by God to fulfill it.
