Grow-Go-Sow Lesson 37
THE LAST SUPPER
Text: Luke 22:14–30
Topic(s): Community, Unity
Big Idea of the Message: At the Passover meal, Jesus instituted the practice of Communion—a vital ritual that reminds us of the atonement.
Application Point: When we take Communion, it reminds us that even though we’re all different, we’re still united through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. As a result, the local church is not to be a place of competition, but a place where each individual serves the others.

3. Why do you think communion is such a unifying moment in a church service?
