Big Idea of the Message: After hearing the report about Canaan, the Hebrew people rebelled against God’s plan and wanted to return to Egypt.


Application Point: When God’s plan becomes too hard, keep trusting him anyway rather than returning to your old life.


Discussion Questions:
1. What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
2. Why do the children of Israel rebel against God?
3. What set Joshua and Caleb apart from the rest of the Israelites? How should we imitate their example?
4. When has your faith journey consisted of grumbling? When has it consisted of faithfulness in the face of great difficulty?
5. Can you think of someone in your life who has modeled faithfulness in God even when life was difficult? How has that impacted you?
